Community.
Where we gather,
grieve, celebrate,
and rise together.
We, not the platform. Diaspora Regions at varying stages. One covenant. This page is the index to how members will live the Congress — the funds that catch us when we fall, the channels that carry our voice, the events where names become faces, the ballots that bind us to our word. The member app unveils at Convention 2026.
Known by name.
Every member belongs somewhere.
Member portal
Your INC-USA account — membership card, telehealth, Iwere Academy seats, giving history, ballots open to your Region. One sign-in. Everything together. Sign in with your member number or email.
Open portal →Your household
A single household roll for a whole family — spouse, kids, parents back home. One plan, one giving history, one RSVP. Add the nurse in Warri and the daughter in Dallas on the same page.
Open household →We catch each other.
Treasurer-mediated · Constitution-anchored.
Condolence Fund
When a family loses one of ours, the house does not stand alone. The Condolence Fund is designed to underwrite wake-keeps, delegation travel, and family support — no form long enough to slow down grief.
Emergency Fund
Short-term help for members facing an acute crisis — hospitalisation, eviction, urgent travel. Confidential, treasurer-mediated, capped per cycle. The Constitution, Article 6.4, is the rule.
Scholarship Fund
For INC-USA families sending a child to college, and for Iwere Academy learners hitting milestones. Annual awards, named cohorts, alumni who come back to teach.
The connective tissue.
Member-vouched. Elder-anchored.
Matchmaking
The elders' quiet ministry — helping Itsekiri singles find partners who understand banga, burial rites, and the long road home. Confidential, member-vouched, no swipes.
Women's Committee
The backbone of every Region — women who cook the banga, run the bylaws, anchor the children, and outlast every election cycle. Monthly gathering, national delegate on the Board.
WhatsApp Groups
Moderated rooms — one per Region plus NextGen, Women's Wing, Elders' Circle, Convention 2026 volunteers. End-to-end encrypted, secretaries moderate.
Where names become faces.
Region events posted as Regions form.
How we speak to each other.
Every voice on the record.
Ballots
Elections, bylaws amendments, Region charter petitions — every vote on the record, audit-trail ready. Per Article 7.2, every member has one voice and one vote.
Newsletters
The INC-USA digest — convention updates, telehealth program updates, culture dispatches, memorials, and wins. Written by members, edited by the Secretary's desk.
Broadcasts
Urgent member-wide messages — safety alerts, board announcements, convention logistics, condolence notifications. Designed for delivery by SMS, WhatsApp, email.
The Congress is people, not a platform.
Every fund on this page is stewarded by a named treasurer in a named Region. Every room is moderated by a named secretary. Every ballot carries a named quorum. We build the tech so the elders don't have to — but we never forget who actually carries it.
